I have a beautiful set of Pink Pearls that I use to connect with Spirit , and this year I thought I would share some of the time what the pearls say to me... so I hope you get some enjoyment from my readings and please drop me a line if you like what I have to say.........

Well we have made it through another year and that is something to celebrate,

... looking back I am glad 2010 is behind me...

... do I feel like that this is going to be a better year?

well I certainly have a different perspective compare to this time last year, I am very much more optimistic and determined to work with the LAW OF ATTRACTION.....only this time I am conscious of the LAW OF ATTRACTION and I want only the good stuff in my life...

..................looking back I have always had the LAW OF ATTRACTION in my life, but never really understood that I really was creating my one reality... well this year I am working towards the reality of my choosing.... CHOICE being the operative word.

Some questions to ask yourself as you begin to work with your own power.. your own life force

......what do you want in this lifetime?

......what are your short term and long turn goals?

......what is your character?

Numerology and Tarot and Astrology would ask the question s in different ways...

what is your destiny?

what is your souls desire?

what are your character traits?

The Kundalini Energy will express it through feelings,

..... does that make you feel happy

...... does that make you feel sad

.....does that make you feel desirable

..... are you using your energy wisely?

.... .are you treating your body as if it were a temple?

Someone said to me once it is all the same language just communicated in different ways.. we are all headed in the same direction just on different paths and wavelengths... and spirit will always find someone to help guide you on the way home... we have just got to be quiet and listen.

Hi Friends it has been a while since my last post but if you have been to my little boutique in the last few weeks you would have seen a "New Look".... Rocks Revealed.

It was just time for it to be updated and a little bit more user friendly... so please pop over and check it out... I would love to hear your comments on the new site.

I have been working on new designs and here are a few... many of the ones I have been working on are the Heart stones............ everytime I work with these stones, they open my heart and allow beautiful love to enter my life, it is indeed a privilege to be able to absorb the beautiful energy of these stones.

Rose Quartz and Aventurine are known as the love stones... They are both stones of the heart. Rose Quartz works on the emotions, balancing and harmonising with its gentle and calming influence to heal emotional wounds, The soothing influences of Rose quartz helps aid in letting go and releasing negative emotions...Aventurine is a lovely stone to wear over the heart as its protective qualities will ward of anxiety and fear. It balances the male and female aspects, leading to a sense of well being and decisiveness. A good stone to motivate and encourage positive attitudes. Both stones are a beautiful gift to give someone you love and can be especially helpful to young teenagers as they come to terms with their awakening and changing emotions.

Labradorite was first found in 1770 on the Labrador Peninsular in Canada.
The colour of the stone has a beautiful flash which is know as "labradorescence".
The colour of the stone changes according to the angle of refraction and you may see a blue. green, yellow and pink flash. The base colour of the stone is a silvery gray.
There has been much written about this stone and it's healing properties from revealing your life's destiny in a "flash" to helping aid in blindness, night vision, diet, gout, colds, rheumatic fever, feeling cold and lowers the blood pressure....
it would certainly be a stone to have in your medicine cabinet.

As I have worked this stone, I have felt certain things come to light on an emotional and mental level.

Wow.... this is an amazing stone, and I am looking forward to working with this... is is called Chrysocolla, a mixture of Malachite ( green) and Azurite ( blue)....... this is a beautiful feminine stone which would bring balance to your emotions working on the heart chakra and the throat chakra allowing one to speak from the heart... it is said to be a very good stress stone and helps one with mood changes, strengthens the liver, relaxes, helps with infections, sore throats, burns, scars, fever cramps and menstral pains.....

"OKLAHOMA" (a Choctaw word meaning " red people" )

Jewelry has been a lifelong fascination. As a little girl, grandmother’s cast offs and necklaces made of uncooked pasta were my “diamonds and pearls”. At seventeen, my first real job was as a salesclerk in a department store in the jewelry and accessories department. After 40 years, I still remember the joy I felt when my supervisor asked me to accessorize the mannequins in the store window. In 2008, my best friend/adopted sister , Moninya Mulder, urged me to try designing and making jewelry -- as therapy for my Parkinson’s. To my surprise, the creative process gave me those same feelings of joy I had those years many ago. The feel of the stones, the shapes, the colors, have a calming effect on me. Tremors go away or somehow I manage to work around them as I string my beads. I consider myself a “bead stringer“. I take the work of others, beads, gemstones, silverwork, and create designs. The inspiration for design comes from my culture and heritage.

I was born and raised in the state of Oklahoma ( a Choctaw word meaning “Red People”). Like many from Oklahoma, whose family were immigrants from various European countries and settled in what was Indian Territory before 1900, I am of mixed race. I am proud of my heritage; American Indian (Chickasaw, Choctaw, Cherokee), German, Scotch, Irish, and French. Using traditional materials and colors in combinations with the non-traditional I hope to reflect that pride.

I thought I would start a discussion on "LOTIONS AND POTIONS"
We all know that the laying- on of stones is a very ancient art and we are all discovering that many of the spiritual practices have sadly been lost.. so I thought why not share some knowledge on what I have come to learn on the healing qualities that many stones have been used for... feel free to add what you know or has been passed down to you.

Having studied the Shamanistic Ways, I believe in crystals and stones and there healing powers.. in the past they were often use medicinally, crushed into grains or powders, made into elixirs .... stones steeped in liquid and the liquid then drank.

*Amber was made into an ointment and used to treat coughs and bronchitis.
*Agate was ground and mixed with wine to heal wounds.
*Aquamarine was prescribed as a cure for toothache, epilepsy and liver disease.
*Emerald was taken as an antidote to poison and to stop dysentery.
*Bloodstone was used to stop hemorrhaging.
*Hematite was favored in ancient Egypt to stop heavy bleeding and reduce swelling.
*Jade used by the Chinese to strengthen the heart and lungs and to prolong life. Mixed with rice and dew, it was taken to strengthen the muscles and harden bones.
*Lapis Lazuli was used by the ancient Egyptians in the making of eye ointments and the Greeks used it to treat snake bites.. later a cure for fever and depression.
*Sapphires has been used in the treatment of eye diseases and the plague.
*Topaz was steeped into wine for three days and rubbed across the eyes to cure poor vision.

Well today I placed on my desk, a Turquoise Gem Tree and a Lapis Lazuli Carved Bear as I worked on the design of two new pieces in Blue.........
and I just thought I would share with you the vibration of the day...

One piece that I made for a client, just arrived in the mail for her as she recieved good news about about her business..... well that gave me tingles all up my spine, spirit can be so giving... and I felt very humble to have played a part in something beautiful that happened to my client.

Blue.... also remined me yet again of the energy of "trust " the sutle energy of compassion and caring,
to be able to self express parts of my past that had long ago been delt with... and it was released with no emotion, just acceptance of what once was.

From a Course in Miracles

Many years ago I read a book by Marianne Williamson ...
"A RETURN TO LOVE" AND THAT BEAUTIFUL VERSE WAS IN IT.......well that verse has stayed with me as my support through my journey in life. I did try and read the epic book "A Course in Miracles", but that is an epic in itself ... Marianne's book I found simplifies it all.
Before we start on this journey together of the stones and there secrets.....
I would like to tell you what I believe :
"I believe that everyone is special, and we all have something special to offer... the key or the answer lies within you....
MY MISSION...   "I WANT EVERYONE TO FEEL SPECIAL"

                                                Colour is Nature's OWN Anti-Depressant

So lets start with the colour BLUE.........

I have been studying the Shaministic Ways, Chakras and the Kundalini System for many years as well as the Kabbala, Tarot, Numerology and have been commited to a spiritual path most of my life.
For me Blue represents "trust" and that is the first thing I feel that we need to develop in all that we do.

Whether it be in your relationship to yourself, to another person in your life or the road that you walk... you need to "trust " that all is as it should be at this point in time.

Getting back to nature will allow you to feel that everyone of us has some awareness that we were born for a specific purpose, that life contains a Divine Plan.
The fifth chakra is the center for that awareness and for our desire to make contact with the divine plan.
For me stones hold my connection to the center of my being ..............
                     maybe a blue scarf would help you connect to that part of your spirit.......

I remember when I was learning to read the taro cards......
I would take out a card for the week, and just see what I experienced for those seven days..... it's the same principle I use for all my intuitive learning...... so grab yourself something "blue" and over the next week, just take notes, whether it be writting it down or mentally in your mind, the thoughts and the feelings that come into your being are you intuition ...
"so trust it"
As we grow, we all try and build our lives according to our own will.
Then some event or crisis occurs, then we are confronted with our own limits on how to deal with the situation....
This is when we grow, we find different ways of dealing with issues... we learn to become more expressive, we learn to communicate at a different level... and in order to deal with this crisis, we move beyond the boundaries of our own limitations.

All of a sudden we stop fighting...we take the path of least resistance..... and we learn that life is all about "CHOICE" and when we make a "CHOICE" we are in our own authentic power.
Many times in my life, I have felf so stuck, unable to walk ( yep my Parkinson's dis-ease)
.... but I have a choice.... stay in bed and feel sorry for myself, or choose to get up.... I choose always to get up.....
Life is not a rehersal... this is the real thing!..and I do not want to waste one moment !!!!
........................so if picking up a blue scarf....... wearing a blue stone around my neck..... sitting and watching a blue butterfly... gets me to trust life and brings home that positive affirmation, that all is fine in my world.... so be it.......

Blue......... the paint on the walls of my doctors is blue... it is the colour for self expression, it is the colour of communication..... it is the feeling of trust... it is the knowing of truth.....
...............so this week grab something blue... and go beyond it.... feel what energy you get from it, know that energy as yours..... trust that your higher conciousness will lead you to your own greatness and love ( Sefirah HESED in the Kabbala).

"SOMETHING SOLID"

I guess you could say I am on a 'MISSION'.....

I am such a great believer of Louise Hay and Annette Noontil with thinking and living with positive affirmations in one's life.

.... But my mind is very strong and it can take some training to keep those negative thoughts from entering my mind, whether it be enviromental, or emotions, sometimes it can be very hard to stay positive.......
....... so that brings me to my "stones with a soul " ... "my mission."..

        I have found that yep I so love the positive words that inspire me...
.....but side tracked again and before you know it a negative thought has popped in again!
what to do ???
SO I THOUGHT WHY NOT SHARE WHAT WORKS FOR ME! ...
as maybe other people have the same difficulty remembering to stay positive as I do.

* A stone around my neck, that I can fiddle with, helps to remind me of the positive message that I have associated with that particular stone.

* Some object on your desk ( crystal, tailsman, lucky charm) that also reinforces that positive thought as well.

*Something special by my bed as I go off to sleep works as well

Reinforcement is the answer or the key to the doors that prevent us from moveing forward... because in the back of our mind there is the negativity lurking.

It OK to say to change your attitude, all you need to do is change your thoughts, but being consistant can take a lot of effort...
so for me having a stone around my neck.... helps me to stay focused on what I need to achieve in my own being.

So over the next few weeks I thought I would give you some insight into stones and there meanings... there makeup, there colour and where they could be  useful ....
for relationship problems, troubles with communicating, need more love in your life, depressed, need more drive in your life ????

I often say to my Mum.... "why didn't you tell me ?"

I am 47 years old.. and I am on the other side of "menopause"... I ain't going through it ! I would like to think I am over it!

I found it very difficult... it just snuck up on me and I never saw it comin'... wohh what a ride,

A friend of mine Jen said to her doctor as she was diagnosed with breast cancer.. "I just got on the bloody train and now I got to get off it".....

I thought about that...... and we are all goin' to have our own train stories to tell.

Feel free to add you own story to this blog... leave a comment...because there is so much that mum never told me and I would like to share that with you... so if you feel like sharing your story on menopause and life after menopause it might just get help you over that hurdle.!!!

First one that I know is that some women just go through it so gently and others find the road really rough. Why......... I think some women find there wisdom early in life and others find it later.

It took me an awful long time to "wise up"... I was so busy for twenty two married years playing the person that had to fix everything up.... I was the fixer-upperer! ... and now all I want is for someone to fix it all up for me!.... I am tired of always fixing things up... patching things up.. but honestly girls... I am so over fixing things up that I now only fix what is broken and sometimes I even throw it out, sometimes it just ain't worth fixing... That's something I have learn through menopause.

Cause when you get back on the train... it starts picking up speed a lot quicker than the last one you were on.

The stone that keeps coming to mind is "Lapis Lazuli"

One of our Primary Colours (Blue) in our Chakras... and Lapis teaches one to be clear in ones

communication, to speak as a friend, of their truths, lapis help one to know ones essence , their values, their own beliefs.

They call this rock 'Rose Red' and they are right. Its colours are as diverse as the Rose in your garden.... From the Palest Pink Blush to the Blood Red Rose Bud.... and with it, comes Black veins woven through the stone. I have found this a beautiful stone of contrast.

... and found in our own back yard... Moombie, Tamworth, Australia.

A stone of wisdom, born from the understanding of emotions. The lessons of finding strength in your own personality to get over come things, finding the strength to let go when needed.....

the lesson being... if you cannot let go, you cannot go anywhere.. you are stuck, unable to grow.

BAMBOO AGATE

Well this morning I had great fun designing this gorgeous new piece of Bamboo Agate. I have wrapped it in Sterling Silver , added a few bells and whistles or as my friend says "frippery" and wham.... and I am really happy with the result... could quiet easily keep it myself but I cannot keep it all and I certainly cannot wear it all. Bamboo Agate.... as I worked on this stone the energy was one of calm.... I could almost feel the tall Bamboo swaying gently in the breeze... a knowingness of ones own mortality and how everything has it's time and place in the big picture we call the universe. This Bamboo Stone would have shared the period of the dinosaurs. I feel this stone would work well on anxiety and your emotional well being.... go with the flow, a knowing that descends of all is good in my world.

MOOKAITE DREAM CATCHER

Last week as I made the Mookaite Dream Catcher Pendant.... we had an incredible dust storm here on the East Coast of OZ.....

Now this beautiful stone is from Western Australia.. and the colours are of our beautiful outback... I have never seen such beautiful pictures that come from this stone.. from the reds and golds to the beautiful pinks and maroons of the setting suns of a sunburnt country.

As I worked with this stone, one felt the energy of "blood" purification, cleansing and wound healing........ our beautiful country gets into you blood and with the red dust storms many people experienced nose bleeds, I know I did.. for me it was all part of the experience of this rock......... and that is exactly what this stone promotes and that is one of experience, variety and fun. The colours of our beautiful country is so represented in this rock, Australia gets into you blood and the experience is so intense.

This dream catcher for me is all about, the root chakra, grounding, mother earth, liver and spleen... it is making a choice, having a choice... where is the best fertile ground one may ask?.

As I worked with the two Stones that Jeanette recommends... Malachite for Arthritis and Moonstone for Fertility I decided to write about the energy that I experienced with the stones in question.

Malachite...

and at the time of creating this Dream Catcher Astrology talk is all about the Saturn and Uranus challenges, and the beautiful rings of Malachite remind me of the Saturn Rings. In particular the rings of Malachite have made me aware of how our feelings circulate around our being in the ethric field that surrounds the physical body in that our feeling realm.

Malachite is all about feelings, and their need to be recognised and when they are not heard and are ignored they will tend to manifest in the physical body. I found that the energy of Malachite asked me to listen to my feelings " What are your feelings, one may ask?"

Moonstone...

While Working with this stone I became so aware of the moon as one would expect too..... and as Jeanette explains the usefulness of this stone in it's composition for fertility-

The Moonstone brought feelings of my femininity to the fore and even as I write, the moon is large in the sky, Pandora's box, the calmness, the beauty, the tide... The energy or the feeling of everything has a rhythm, right time, right place...

I believe that this Dream Catcher is all about capturing and understanding your feelings, and in doing that you become calm in order to be ready for fertilization. As you work through your feelings the ground becomes fertile again as you listen to your feeling and nuture the body waiting for the right tide. This is a beautiful fertility Dream Catcher... both these stones, work there magic together.
